The wife was looking for a marinade reci pe on Pintere st and was redirected to a another web page.
All the sudden we have of full screen of YOU ARE VIRUS INFECTED. YOUR PC I S LOCKED, CALL MICROSOFT TECH SUPPORT, DO NOT SHUT DOWN YOUR PC!!!! Now I know what it feels like to have your MCAS malfunction with full flashing alarms and beepers!
I hit control/alt/delete and fortunately Task Manager came up. I shut down chrome and the alert went away. Just did a Malwarebytes scan and they say I am virus free!
